About Me
As a young adult during the late 70's I was privileged enough to be
accepted to attend a very prestigious art school (Pratt Inst.) in the
Big City (New York). Having grown up in suburbia all my life you could
imagine the thoughts that were running through my head. I was very
excited about attending such a prestigious school but was also anxious
about going to N.Y.C. Nothing in my life previously had prepared me for
such an experience. Quite an experience it certainly was. At school, I
roomed with 3 other students. We all had our own "agendas" at
school and we all came from very different backgrounds. Anthony grew up
in The Bronx, Jan came from Long Island, N.Y., Tony from Cherry Hill,
N.J. and myself from the state of Delawhere? (OOPS, I mean Delaware).
Though studies at Pratt Institute were intense we always managed to make
time to experience what the Big Apple had to offer. (the nightclubs, the
parties-you get the idea!) Anyway, at school I met many different types
of people, all with different backgrounds, all with different degrees of
talent. The one common thread amongst us was the desire to learn how to
express our creativity. (P.S. Hey Jan, Anthony, Tony give me call sometime!) The
only man who never makes mistakes is the man who never does anything.
