This is one of my finer drawings. It is a 18"x 24" pen and ink drawing with colored pencil. Growing up in Northern Delaware I spent a lot of time riding through the Brandywine Valley. The same Brandywine Valley that is depicted and has influenced many of Andrew Wyeths' paintings. One day an old garage caught my curiosity but not because of its looks but because of what might be in it. I kept stopping by that old garage and as I did I discovered more of its hidden beauty. I never did find out what was in that old garage but one can only imagine. This is a drawing of one of the old wrought iron hinges on the garage doors. I tried to catch its hidden beauty as a Wyeth painting might.
